1st through 6th grade students start at 8:30 and dismiss at 3:00; Thursday dismissal is at 1:30.

Early Kindergarten hours are 8:30-1:30. Late Kindergarten hours are 10:00-3:00 (Except on Thursdays. Their schedule is 8:30-1:30)

Congratulations to our County History Day competitors!  We are so proud of Lauren Ho, Kristen Menes, Ekene Okorafor, Travis Ball, Ciera Sherod, Serenity Sanchez, and Ashton Ngiam.

A special Mustang cheer for our County Champions, Rebecca Parsons, Aneshka Abeyratne, and Angelina Stallardo with their project on the Titanic.  We are headed for the State History Day Competition in April!

We would like to express our thanks to our high school experts for their guidance and moral support during this process.  The kids really appreciated their high school buddies.

We are very excited about a new recognition program for our Mustangs.  Students in 3^rd-6^th grade have the opportunity to earn “Scholar Beads” for various achievements at Foothill Knolls.  We will be recognizing things such as Honor Roll, perfect attendance, PTA Reflections entries, History Day participants, Students of the Month, and Book Club participants, and many others.  Students will collect these beads on a necklace (kept at school), and wear them on assembly days.  It is our goal to give recognition to our students when they go above and beyond what is required of them.  We are so proud of our Mustangs for their scholastic achievements!

Our entire upper grade staff is completing the final year of an intensive three-year program to enrich and infuse math instruction with critical thinking and analysis skills. Our participation in this grant not  only gave our teachers innovative techniques, they also received class manipulatives, technology, and other resources.

Author, Shawn Thomas Odyssey beguiled the students at Foothill Knolls with his magic and songs. His trading cards for his new book, The Wizard of Dark Street, were a big hit. Our Thanks to Mr. Odyssey and Mrs. Nelson's Book Store for a great assembly.

A heartfelt thank you to Michael Buckley, author of the Sister's Grimm and the Nerds series, for taking the time to come visit our school.
